Marameo Festival

The 2025 edition of the Marameo Festival in Giovinazzo, titled 'The Wonderland', took place from July 13th to 18th in Piazza Meschino, in the heart of the city's historic center in the province of Bari. The program, curated by the Arterie Teatro association directed by Alessandra Sciancalepore, brought children's theatre companies from various Italian regions to the stage.

The program alternated evening performances and experiential workshops for the little ones: from the puppet theatre of 'Puss in Boots' by the Umbrian company Tieffeu, with large table puppets, to the storytelling inspired by Gianni Rodari by the Sardinian company Theandric, up to sensory workshops like 'Sapore di Buono', dedicated to flavors and food with chef Francesco Pugliese. The evenings, with affordable ticket prices, involved children and adults in a festive atmosphere, confirming the bond between Giovinazzo and children's theatre.

• 19:00 — Taste of Goodness. Stories with hands in the dough, sensory workshop with Arterie Teatro and chef Francesco Pugliese (by telephone reservation)
• 20:30 — Puss in Boots, puppet theatre by the company Tieffeu — Teatro Figura Umbro (Perugia)
