Manfredonia International Guitar Festival

18th Edition — October 3-12, 2025

The eighteenth edition of the Manfredonia International Guitar Festival was held from October 3 to 12, 2025, in the Baroque Church of Santa Chiara, under the patronage of the Municipality of Manfredonia. Concerts took place on the evenings of October 3, 4, 5, 10, and 11, starting at 8:30 PM with free admission.

The stage featured the Akademika ensemble (eleven classical guitars and bass, directed by Stella Miteva-Dinkova), the Trio Amistad (Sardone, Staffieri, Delli Carri), the award-winning German guitarist Julia Trintschuk, composer and performer Fabrizio Ferraro, the father-daughter duo Luciano and Giusy Miriam Pompilio, and the Salty Guitars duo.

The event concluded on October 11 and 12 with the Giuseppe Caputo International Classical Guitar Competition, named after the master and co-founder of the festival. Artistic direction was provided by Luciano Pompilio for the Duo Caputo Pompilio Association.
