Malser Kirchtag

On August 14th and 15th, 2025, Malles Venosta celebrated the traditional Malser Kirchtag, the Ferragosto patronal festival. The eve of August 14th opened at 6:00 PM with Olmanrausch and, from 8:30 PM, the dance evening with Volxrock. On August 15th, on the festival grounds, the day began with the entrance parade of the Musikkapelle Mals, followed by the Goaßlschnöller and the Malles folk dance group, a musical aperitif with Vollgas, an afternoon concert by the band, a journey through time with the Santony Family, and a dance evening with Sauguat. For children and families, there were games, a lottery, archery, an AVS climbing wall, the VKE game-bus, and a children's cinema. The event, organized by the brass band together with ASV Mals, FF Mals, VKE Mals, AVS Mals, and the mountain rescue, confirmed its role as the premier summer event of the Obervinschgau.
