Malatestiana Musicale Festival

The 76th edition

The 76th Malatestiana Musicale Festival was held from September 3 to December 11, 2025, at the Amintore Galli Theatre in Rimini, with over forty events including symphonic concerts, recitals, dance, talks, and special projects.

The common thread of the symphonic season was the dialogue with three prestigious ensembles from across the Channel: the Philharmonia Orchestra (September 3, with Santtu-Matias Rouvali and pianist Bruce Liu), the Constellation Orchestra conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner (September 15), and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique with the Monteverdi Choir (September 21).

Among the most high-profile guests, on September 28, the Galli Theatre welcomed Cecilia Bartoli with the Musiciens du Prince. Ample space was also given to dance, with the Ballet Preljocaj company.
