Edition 2025 — Maialata in Piazza
Maialata in Piazza 2025 — 28th edition
The 2025 edition of Maialata in Piazza, the 28th, was held in Montefiore dell'Aso from August 15 to 19, organized by the Associazione Maialata. The star was polenta served on a wooden board in three variations: white, red, and mixed, accompanied by grilled chops, ribs, sausages, fries, mini pizzas, and Marche wines.
The food stalls opened every evening from 6:00 PM, while concerts enlivened Piazza della Repubblica from 9:30 PM: on August 15, Dance to Dance performed with a '70s-'90s fusion repertoire, and on August 16, the Folkappanka Bifolk Band played a mix of Italian folklore and singer-songwriter music. Along Borgo Giordano Bruno, there were craft markets and a charity raffle organized by the Municipal Council of Children. As always, the proceeds were donated to the Croce Verde of Montefiore-Massignano-Campofilone.
