MAI Festival 2025 — the tenth edition

From June 26 to August 1, 2025, Primiero hosted the tenth edition of the Trentino Music Festival, in collaboration with the Mezzano Romantica festival. On stage were 166 young artists and 39 faculty and staff members from the Music Academy International in New York.

The opera season featured Handel's Alcina, Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos, Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and Mark Adamo's Little Women. Among the musicals were Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Mary Rodgers's Once Upon a Mattress. Over thirty events were offered free of charge, ranging from symphonic concerts to dance, in the municipalities of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza and Mezzano.
