Magna Inventio

In 2025, Magna Inventio celebrated its fifth edition in Cassano delle Murge, in the province of Bari, between May 15 and 18. The event once again offered the usual blend of history, faith, and popular tradition that commemorates the 1855 discovery of the sacred image of the Madonna degli Angeli.

The program opened on Thursday, May 15, with the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to 19th-century trousseaus, lace, and embroidery in the halls of Palazzo Miani-Perotti, which remained open for the entire period. On Saturday, Piazza Aldo Moro hosted "The Town in Celebration," with traditional songs and dances performed by students and the grand historical pageant in costume through the town streets. Sunday concluded with the procession of the Madonna degli Angeli and the celebration on the Convent square, the devotional heart of the Cassano community.
