Edition 2025 — Magma
The 24th edition of Magma – Short Film Exhibition was held from November 3 to 8, 2025, between Acireale and Catania. The International Competition for short films concluded with the awards ceremony on Saturday, November 8, at 8:30 PM, at the Margherita Multisala in Acireale, where the jury awarded the Lorenzo Vecchio Prize to the best short film, along with several special mentions.
The competition was preceded by the Insula – Impressions of Sicily section, dedicated to short films by Sicilian directors or set on the island, scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, in Catania. The edition confirmed the international vocation of the festival organized by the Associazione Scarti ETS in the Municipality of Acireale.
