Magliejazz Season

The 2025 Season of Magliejazz brought Maglie to life from February 16 to April 27 with a program of six evenings featuring concerts and theatre at the Largo Stazione venue. The program alternated original musical projects with spoken-word performances, confirming the multidisciplinary vocation of the Bud Powell Jazz Association in Salento.

• February 16 — Cinemachine, blending electronics, sax, and baritone guitar with Valerio Daniele, Roberto Gagliardi, and Giovanni Chirico.
• February 23 — Il Grigio by Giorgio Gaber and Sandro Luporini, with Salvatore Della Villa and original music by Gianluigi Antonaci.
• March 9 — Vito di Modugno Quartet, featuring Vito di Modugno on Hammond organ, Michele Carrabba, Pietro Condorelli, and Massimo Manzi.
• March 23 — Blue Stories, a musical narrative of smoke-filled stories and lying dreams.
• April 13 — Gabriele di Franco & Francesco Negro feat. Vanesa Diaz Gil, a trio featuring voice, piano, and guitar.
• April 27 — Uno, Nessuno e Pirandello, a journey into the theatre of Luigi Pirandello by the SDV Company.
