Maggiolata – Raiano Cherry Festival

The record-breaking 68th edition

In 2025, the Maggiolata of Raiano (AQ) celebrated its 68th edition from May 30th to June 1st, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Abruzzese spring and recording record attendance on all three days.

The opening Friday offered a dive into the nineties with the concert of DecaBand, a tribute to 883. Saturday was dedicated to the spectacular Cherry Red Night, with street performers, markets, street food, DJ sets, and special guest Georgia Moss. On Sunday, the highlight day, Piazza Postiglione hosted performances by folk groups at 7:30 PM and, at 9:00 PM, the long-awaited concert by Bandabardò.

As per tradition, there was no shortage of the allegorical float parade, the Flowered Balconies competition, cherry and local product stalls, and guided tours of the Gorges of San Venanzio, the Museum of Rural Art, and the historic oil mill.
