Edition 2025 — Maggio Sermonetano
The 2025 edition marked thirty years of the Maggio Sermonetano, a milestone celebrated from May 3 to 25 with a particularly rich program. The opening was entrusted to Placido Domingo Jr., in concert on Sunday, May 4, at the Belvedere with "Voci a Mano," accompanied by Annalisa Biancofiore and accordionists Andrea Coruzzi and Cristiano Lui, blending tango, bolero, and classical atmospheres.
The weekends featured the Enlight Ensemble Promenade directed by maestro Marcello Paolo Guarnacci, the orchestra of the Donna Lelia Caetani Comprehensive Institute, and, on Sunday, May 11, the concert by Giuliano Gabriele at the Belvedere. Sundays were punctuated by parades of folk bands—Fanfaroma, Cecafumo, and Fabrizio Caroso—along with art exhibitions, ceramic decoration workshops, and lutherie displays. On May 24, the Maledettidettimale trio paid tribute to Domenico Pieralli with a poetic concert, while the closing on May 25 was entrusted to Alessandro Nosenzo and the Rom & Gagé quintet with the show "Musiche rubate." All events, promoted by the Maggio Sermonetano Association with the Municipality of Sermoneta, were free of charge.
