The May festival in Magera

The Magera Festival is the village festival of the hamlet of Magera, in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso. It takes place in May, under the marquee set up by the volunteers of A.RI.S.MA. (Associazione Ricreativa Sportiva Magera), and is one of the most deeply rooted events in the local community.

Between commemoration and celebration

The festival opens on May 1st with a parade through the village streets, a commemorative ceremony, and Holy Mass, on a day that combines remembrance and popular celebration. In the following weeks, the gastronomic stand and musical evenings provide the backdrop for the actual mid-May village festival.

Venetian cuisine and live music

The heart of the festival is the gastronomic stand with traditional Venetian dishes, accompanied by musical evenings with bands and tributes, such as the concert by the Nomadi tribute band "Senza Patria". The event is entirely managed by the association's volunteers and the Magera community.
