Edition 2025 — Magdalena-Tag

In July 2025, the Magdalena-Tag at Latzfonser Kreuz drew numerous pilgrims and hikers to the sanctuary at 2,296 meters above Sarentino/Sarntal. As per tradition, the feast of St. Mary Magdalene combined a mountain pilgrimage with an 11:00 AM solemn outdoor Mass, accompanied by the Latzfons parish band and choir, followed by a concert by the Musikkapelle Latzfons.

The 2025 Magdalena-Tag

In 2025, the Latzfonser Kreuz sanctuary, in the Sarntal Alps in the municipality of Sarentino/Sarntal (Province of Bolzano, South Tyrol), once again hosted the feast of St. Mary Magdalene. The faithful hiked in pilgrimage to the neo-Gothic chapel at 2,296 meters for the 11:00 AM solemn outdoor Mass, accompanied by the Latzfons parish band and choir. Afterwards, the Musikkapelle Latzfons performed the customary concert, in an atmosphere of faith and tradition among the peaks of Sarentino.
