Edition 2025 — Madonnina della Piana
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the Madonnina della Piana Festival took place on August 23 and 24, organized by the Madonnina della Piana Festival Association. The heart of the two days was, as always, the procession along the rural roads of Volturara Irpina, through the fields of the Piana del Dragone; followed by moments of music and tastings of local products.
The festival was part of the Estate Volturarese 2025, the summer program of the Municipality in the province of Avellino, which that year also featured the Cheese-maker's Festival (July 18-20), the Sant'Antonio di Padova festivities with the Festival of Roots (July 25-29), the departure of the Castellana towards Montevergine on August 14, and the thirteenth Quarantino Bean Festival in September.
