The first edition: Dante, Madonnelle and Christograms

The debut of the event, on July 18, 2025, combined art, faith, and literature. Starting at 8:30 PM from Piazza Garibaldi, the walk traversed the narrow streets of the medieval town of Velletri, accompanied by insights from local art historian Sara Di Luzio, who recounted the history of the city's Marian icons and the Christograms, symbolic expressions carved into ancient portals. Professor Giorgio Battistella, a Dante scholar from Treviso, recited the first canto of Purgatory along the route.

The evening, organized by the Municipality of Velletri with the Pro Loco Velitrae in the presence of Mayor Ascanio Cascella, concluded around 10:00 PM in the Stimmate Area with a fraternal toast and a tasting of organic wines and products offered by local producers. For the Jubilee year, the brochure "The Tour of the 7 Churches, Velletri and its Parishes," created with the support of the Municipality and the Banca Popolare del Lazio, was distributed.
