The 2025 edition

The 2025 Madonna SS. del Soccorso Festival took place in Montelanico on Sunday, September 21, respecting the custom of the third Sunday of the month. That year, the rite opened in the heart of the night with the unveiling of the 15th-century fresco housed in the Sanctuary and with the 4:00 AM mass, one of the most characteristic liturgical moments in southern Lazio.

In the evening, the procession carried the Madonna's float along the alleys of the village, with the participation of residents and many Montelanico natives who returned to the village for the occasion. A day that, in the Municipality of Montelanico, remains more deeply felt than the feast of the patron saint, Michael the Archangel, and continues to be the main identity-defining event for the Lepini Mountains community.
