Edition 2025 — Madonna Pellegrina of Rosello
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Madonna Pellegrina Festival in Rosello took place around September 8th, the day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, within the usual framework of patronal festivities between September 7th and 9th. Faithful to the "Madonna from house to house" tradition, the Alto Sangro village welcomed the ancient painting of the Madonna delle Grazie, which was carried in procession from the rural sanctuary along the village streets and stopped in front of every house, while the faithful took turns carrying it to fulfill their votive commitments.
In 2025 as well, the festival represented a moment of strong identity and gathering for the community of Rosello, in the province of Chieti, blending Marian devotion, collective memory, and village conviviality.
