Edition 2025 — Madonna di Gulfi
2025 Edition - 381st Ascent
In 2025, the Madonna di Gulfi Festival in Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the province of Ragusa, celebrated its 381st edition. The Ascent took place on Sunday, April 27, Divine Mercy Sunday, starting at 10:00 AM according to the traditional rite: the marble statue of Maria Santissima di Gulfi was carried on the shoulders of the faithful from the Sanctuary of Gulfi to the town center, where it was welcomed for the customary nine-day cycle of liturgical celebrations.
The 2025 edition was also experienced in memory of Pope Francis, with moments of prayer that united the entire Iblean community around its patron saint, confirming the deep devotion that binds Chiaramonte Gulfi to the Madonna di Gulfi.
