Madonna di Crispino Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna di Crispino Festival took place in September in Pellegrino, a hamlet of Monforte San Giorgio, in the Messina area. During the festival days, the community experienced the most heartfelt moments of tradition: the evocative Capidduzzu di Maria candlelight procession, illuminated by the faithful's candles and accompanied by bagpipes and drums, and the solemn procession of the statue of the Madonna and Child carried on shoulders through the village streets.

Alongside the religious rites, the 2025 program offered music and concerts in the square, gastronomic evenings with typical local products, tournaments, and games for all ages, ending with the customary fireworks display that closed the festivities.
