Madonna di Buonriposo Feast / Sausage Festival / Palio dei Berberi

The 2025 Edition

The Feast of Maria SS di Buonriposo 2025 was held in Calascibetta (Enna) from September 4 to 8, spanning five days. Thursday the 4th opened with the Moysa Street Band and the Kore folk group from Enna; Friday the 5th featured music by Smaniafonia and the twinning ceremony with the Belgian town of Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont.

On Saturday, September 6, the 53rd Sausage Festival—part of the 'Authentic Festivals' circuit—brought the town to life alongside the Patrick Moriau Memorial, the Fiat 500 meeting, and an archaeological walk focused on the Byzantines. On Sunday the 7th, the Palio dei Berberi took place, preceded by the blessing of the horses: victory went to Saimon Gallo riding Red Davil. On Monday the 8th, the procession of the Virgin's statue, fireworks, and a reggae concert by Alborosie concluded the festival.

• Sunday, September 7 — Treasure hunt; blessing of the palio and the horses; Palio dei Berberi (winner Saimon Gallo on Red Davil); Festalunga Band.
• Monday, September 8 — Procession of the statue; fireworks; concert by Alborosie.
