Madonna delle Grazie Festival

The 2025 Madonna delle Grazie Festival brought life to Soleto, in the Grecìa Salentina, on August 4th and 5th. On the evening of the vigil, August 4th, the characteristic sunset procession took place with the image of the Madonna, illuminated by torches along the route and accompanied by the band through the streets of the center.

On August 5th, the solemn day, holy masses were celebrated in the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie at 7:00, 8:30, 10:00, and 19:00. From 8:00 PM, the grand musical entertainment was provided by the Grande Orchestra Lirico Sinfonica di Terra d'Otranto, in the theatre-in-the-square format, while the evening concluded with a fireworks display. There was no shortage of stalls with typical Salento sweets, copeta and mustaccioli, which accompanied the festival until late at night.
