Edition 2025 — Madonna delle Grazie Corvara

In 2025, Corvara, a small village in the province of Pescara, celebrated its patron saint, the Madonna delle Grazie (Santa Maria di Costantinopoli), in early July. The community gathered around the parish church for the Solemn Mass and the procession, renewing a centuries-old tradition in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.

The 2025 edition of the Madonna delle Grazie Festival in Corvara followed the traditional schedule of July 1st and 2nd. In the mountain village in the province of Pescara, at the foot of Mount La Queglia, the patronal festivities took place around the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie and Sant'Andrea, with the Eucharistic celebration and the procession of the Madonna's statue through the streets of the village. The event confirmed its role as a key identity marker for the small Corvara community, serving as a gathering point for residents and emigrants and a moment of strong social cohesion in the Abruzzo mountains.
