Madonna delle Grazie Festival in Butera

The 2025 edition of the Madonna delle Grazie Festival in Butera, in the province of Caltanissetta, confirmed the devotional tradition of the local village. From June 23rd to July 1st, the solemn novena took place, with the prayer of the "Coroncina" and Eucharistic celebrations.

On July 2nd, the day of the festival, the people of Butera gathered for Holy Masses, particularly the solemn one at 11:00 AM. In the evening, the precious Marian statue attributed to the sculptor Vincenzo Genovese from Palermo was carried in procession through the streets of the historic center, with the participation of the faithful. The festivities concluded with fireworks and the enthronement of the effigy in the niche of the main altar of the 15th-century Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
