Edition 2025 — Madonna della Visitazione Fair
2025 Edition (348th)
The 348th Madonna della Visitazione Fair in Salice Salentino (Lecce) opened on June 28, 2025, with the fifth edition of the evocative Cena in Bianco and musical entertainment in Piazza Plebiscito. The religious program included the solemn Novena (June 22-28) and the Triduum preached by Father Cosimo Damiano Nigro and Father Francesco Lugarà.
Main highlights
- June 29: comedy show with Piero Ciakky.
- June 30: procession of the "Venerable" and pizzica concert by Talitakum.
- July 1: solemn procession of the Madonna; "Città di Francavilla Fontana" Grand Brass Band and Salve Regina sung by tenor Nico Franchini.
- July 2: concelebrated mass presided over by Archbishop Giovanni Intini and "Tutti Sognano Sanremo" evening with local artists.
- July 3: Eucharistic thanksgiving celebration and '70s-'90s dance party "Stayin' Alive".
The event also featured the market fair, the funfair in the market area, light displays by the Antonio Santoro company, and fireworks curated by Vito d'Oronzo.
