Edition 2025 — Madonna della Stella
The 2025 edition
On September 8, 2025, the community of Scordia (CT) gathered in the Montagna district for the Madonna della Stella Festival. The celebrations were preceded by a preparatory triduum starting on September 5, including a pilgrimage on foot from the church of San Domenico Savio, the recitation of the Rosary, and Eucharistic celebrations in suffrage for deceased devotees, along with the blessing of votive candles.
On the day of the solemnity, after the solemn evening Mass, the wooden statue of the Madonna was carried in procession along the traditional streets of the district, including Via Berlinguer, accompanied by a brass band, a horse parade, and the participation of numerous faithful shouting "Viva Maria".
