Edition 2025 — Madonna della Rocca

In 2025, Alessandria della Rocca once again celebrated its patronal feast in late August, during the weekend preceding the last Sunday of the month. The Sicani community gathered around the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rocca for the "viaggiu scazu", the processions of the statue, and the traditional folkloric days with a brass band, performances, and fireworks, renewing a devotion dating back to 1630.

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Rocca Festival in Alessandria della Rocca (Agrigento) confirmed its usual late-August schedule. The religious part, spread across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, featured the barefoot pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, the evening procession of the statue towards the Mother Church with a stop at the Portella chapel, and the Sunday Solemn Mass.

The folkloric part took place in the following days, with the brass band parade, performances in the square, sporting events, and fireworks. As per tradition, the statue of the Madonna remained on display in the Mother Church until the first Sunday of October.
