Madonna della Ricotta Festival (SS. Annunziata)

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Ricotta Festival was spread over two days. On Saturday, May 24, starting at 7:30 PM, the third edition of the Ricotta Festival was held, featuring music, tastings of traditional dishes, and DJ sets until late at night.

Sunday, May 25 was the highlight: the "Città di Montesarchio" band, accompanied by the Carlantino majorettes, opened the day by parading through the village streets. From 8:30 AM, shepherds and farmers demonstrated to the public all the stages of transforming milk into cheese, mozzarella, and ricotta in the stalls. At 11:00 AM, the Holy Mass in honor of the Madonna, celebrated by Father Jobin, was followed by a musical performance; in the afternoon, at 6:30 PM, the solemn procession with the Madonna and the Archangel Gabriel took place.
