Edition 2025 — Madonna della Pace
The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Pace Festival renewed in Tremestieri Etneo the rites that have marked the patronal feast during the Octave of Easter for centuries. After the preparatory triduum and the eve pilgrimage from the Madonna dell'Idria church to the Mother Church, with the offering of flowers and wax, the community experienced the two traditional processions of the statue of Mary Most Holy Queen of Peace.
The festival, also lived in the spirit of the Synodal Path, saw the participation of clergy, civil and military authorities, and many faithful. Among the most heartfelt moments were the Cantata in honor of the Madonna on the parvis of the Mother Church and the act of entrusting the city to the Virgin, accompanied by the popular atmosphere of the stalls and the fair in the town's streets.
