Madonna della Pace Festival

From August 23 to 25, 2025, the Chiesa Nuova district of Polignano a Mare hosted three days dedicated to the Madonna della Pace. The program combined religious devotion, with Holy Masses and the procession of the sacred image along the streets of the district, with the more festive and popular dimension of Apulian tradition.

The evenings featured brass band concerts, folk music, and moments of conviviality under the illuminations, with food stalls offering local flavors. To close the festivities, as per tradition, the fireworks display lit up the sky over the Polignano countryside. The festival, organized by the Madonna della Pace Festival Committee with the participation of the district's inhabitants, confirmed its role as a key identity event of the summer in the hinterland of Polignano a Mare, Puglia.
