Madonna della Neve Festival

In the summer of 2025, Neviano celebrated its patron saint, the Madonna della Neve, on the traditional days of August 4th, 5th, and 6th. The most intense moment was once again the intorciata, the evening procession that guided the faithful from the Mother Church with turci (votive candles) along the streets of the center and into the countryside. Alongside religious celebrations, the civil program offered brass band concerts, impressive light displays, fireworks, and evenings of folk music, with the participation of numerous visitors from neighboring towns in the province of Lecce. The festival confirmed its role as a key identity event for the Neviano community and the entire Salento territory.
