Madonna della Neve Festival - Monchezzola

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Neve Festival in Monchezzola, above Serravalle Sesia, was celebrated in early August according to the usual Alpine tradition, with the gathering at the chapel, the mass, and the shared meal.

2025 coincided with the centenary of the Serravalle Sesia Alpini Group: the association, founded a century earlier, linked its summer gatherings in Monchezzola to this anniversary—a place they have adopted and cared for over time by building a refuge and maintaining the access road. The festival thus united Marian devotion, Alpine identity, and the celebration of a century-long history in the heart of Valsesia.
