Madonna della Libera Festival 2025
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Marina Grande in Capri experienced its traditional Madonna della Libera Festival, blending faith and folklore. The morning opened with holy mass in the church of San Costanzo, presided over by Monsignor Francesco Alfano.
In the afternoon, the procession carried the statue of the Madonna toward the harbor, with the participation of the island's confraternities and religious associations. The harbor area, animated by market stalls and a play area, then transformed into the stage for the evening festivities.
On the stage overlooking the sea, the folk group La Ciammurria performed, followed by concerts from Francesco da Vinci and the highly popular Tony Tammaro, who ignited the enthusiasm of the Capri audience, closing a day of devotion and community with music.
