Edition 2025 — Madonna della Lavina

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Lavina Feast took place in Cerami on September 7th and 8th, renewing the village's centuries-old devotion to its Byzantine icon. As per tradition, the processions between the Sanctuary, the Mother Church, and the Abbey of San Benedetto involved bands, confraternities, and the entire community, while the Sausage Festival on September 8th animated the village until late at night.

The 2025 edition

Also in 2025, Cerami celebrated the Madonna della Lavina Feast on September 7th and 8th, preceded by the novena that began on August 30th. The venerated icon was carried in procession on the baialardu from the Sanctuary to the Mother Church and, in the evening, returned to the Sanctuary with the participation of the clergy, confraternities, authorities, and traditional fireworks.

On September 8th, after the Eucharistic celebrations at the Sanctuary, the Sausage Festival brought together residents and visitors to enjoy grilled sausages, roasted fava beans, and local nougat, confirming the deep bond between faith and gastronomic traditions in this village of the Enna Nebrodi.
