Edition 2025 — Madonna della Civita at Scotti
The 2025 edition
On July 21, 2025, Scotti di Sopra, in Ponza, renewed the festival in honor of the Madonna della Civita, according to the pattern handed down for decades: a procession in the early afternoon along the district paths, open-air holy mass around 7 PM in the courtyard in front of the houses, followed by children's games, live music, and the final cocomerata with free distribution of watermelon.
As every year, the anniversary drew not only local residents to Scotti but also many Ponza natives who returned to the island for the occasion, as well as vacationers curious to discover a Ponza different from the one at the port. The festival was held with free admission, confirming its character as a community and family event in the heart of the Pontine Islands summer.
