Madonna dell'Itria Festival

The first edition of the Madonna dell'Itria Festival in Favara took place from June 7 to 15, 2025, reviving a devotion that had been absent for fifteen years and held for the first time in the month of June.

The festivities opened on June 7 with Holy Mass and a convivial moment in the parish. On June 8, Piazza della Pace was animated by a bicycle ride for adults and children, an exhibition of rally cars, and the parade of the Tammura di Girgenti. On June 14, the day was dedicated to a blood drive, Holy Mass, and the solemn procession with a brass band, concluded by fireworks. On June 15, after the awards ceremony for Favara's excellence, a concert in the square closed the festival.
