Edition 2025 — Pilgrimage to the Incoronata

On April 25, 2025, the community of Ascoli Satriano renewed the tradition of the pilgrimage on foot to the Mother of God Incoronata Sanctuary, in the Incoronata Woods south of Foggia. The faithful walked along the roads of the Tavoliere to join the feast of the apparition and the spring Marian celebrations, including the Cavalcade of the Angels.

The 2025 edition of the pilgrimage took place on April 25, coinciding with the feast of the apparition of the Madonna Incoronata. As is tradition, pilgrims from Ascoli Satriano reached the sanctuary in the Incoronata Woods on foot, just outside Foggia, taking part in the rites that draw tens of thousands of devotees from all over Puglia every spring. The journey, filled with songs and prayers along the Tavoliere, reaffirmed the strong bond between the Daunian community and one of the oldest Marian sites in Southern Italy.
