Madonna dell'Abbondanza Festival

The 2025 Madonna dell'Abbondanza Festival took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the hamlet of Camastrà, on the hills of Pace del Mela (province of Messina). The program, published by the Santa Maria della Visitazione Parish, included the usual religious celebrations at the church of Santa Maria dell'Abbondanza: solemn holy masses, moments of prayer, and popular devotion around the wooden statue of the Virgin and Child.

The festival confirmed the hillside village's strong bond with its Madonna, guardian of the devotion linked to the fruits of the earth and the abundance of the harvests. A well-attended edition that brought together the hamlet's inhabitants and devoted families on a warm midsummer day, in the spirit of a tradition that renews itself year after year.
