Edition 2025 — Madonna del Soccorso

In May 2025, Cori renewed its appointment with the Madonna del Soccorso Festival, celebrated as per tradition on the second Sunday of the month. Religious rites, the procession of the Marian effigy, and moments of popular celebration took place through the streets of Cori Alto, honoring the devotion that has linked the village to its patron saint for centuries.

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Soccorso Festival confirmed the ritual of the second Sunday of May in Cori, in the province of Latina. The community gathered around the procession of the Virgin's effigy, carried on shoulders along the streets of the historic center and accompanied by the town band, in accordance with the tradition dating back to the 1521 apparition. Alongside moments of religious reflection, the days offered folklore events, shows, and opportunities for social gathering in the square, reaffirming the strong bond between the Marian festival and the identity of Cori, which culminates in the following months in the Carosello Storico dei Rioni.
