Edition 2025 — Madonna del Rosario
The 2025 Madonna del Rosario Festival confirmed the strong bond between Pozzallo and its patron saint. The celebrations opened on the last Sunday of September with the 'Scinnuta ra Matri' and the solemn triduum in the Mother Church, accompanied each evening by musical performances, the Frittelle Festival, and the traditional charity raffle.
On October 7th, the patronal feast day, the statue emerged on its float, welcomed by fireworks and the throwing of colorful confetti. The procession traversed the main streets with prayer stops at local churches, including that of Saint John the Baptist, concluding with the emotional curruta along Via Vito Giardina and Piazza San Pietro.
