Edition 2025 — Madonna del Romitello

On May 10, 2025, Borgetto celebrated the Madonna del Romitello Festival with the solemn procession of the miraculous painting from the Sanctuary to the Mother Church. The day, documented by images of the procession shared by the community, confirmed the vitality of a devotional tradition deeply rooted in the Jato Valley.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Romitello Festival took place on May 10 in Borgetto. As per tradition, after religious services celebrated at the Romitello Sanctuary from dawn until evening, the miraculous painting was carried in procession through the streets of the town to the Mother Church, accompanied by the faithful and the confraternities. In the square, there was no shortage of Virgineddi, the pasta with fava beans linked to the ancient devotional vow. The festival confirmed the strong bond between Borgetto, its Sanctuary, and the communities of devotees, including those of Borgetto origin who emigrated abroad, who continue to support the event.
