Madonna del Pozzo Fair and Festival

The 2025 edition in Corato

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Pozzo Fair and Festival focused on the theme of peace for families, society, and the entire world. The novena took place from August 22 to 30 at the Church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Capuchin Church), with the meditated rosary and prayer to the Virgin at 5:15 PM and holy mass at 6:00 PM, led by parish vicar Father Francesco Lattanzio. On August 30, the celebration was presided over by Archbishop Leonardo D'Ascenzo.

August 31 was dedicated to visiting the statue and individual prayer (10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 6:00 PM–9:00 PM). The city festival on September 1 featured holy masses at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM — the 11:00 AM mass was presided over by Bishop Emeritus Giovanni Ricchiuti, national president of Pax Christi — and, at 8:00 PM, the solemn procession along the city's main street. Accompanying the recurrence, the Madonna del Pozzo Fair 2025 was held on August 31 and September 1 in the streets and squares of the center of Corato, in Puglia.
