Edition 2025 — Madonna del Mazzaro
The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Mazzaro Festival was held in Mazzarino from September 15 to 22, with the solemn day set for Sunday, September 21, the third Sunday of the month.
The program included the preparatory novena, the characteristic "Dumannaredda" procession escorted by caparisoned horses in the days prior, liturgical celebrations in the Sanctuary Basilica, and the procession of the statue of the Patron Saint along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and the main city streets, accompanied by the town band and the Confraternity of the Children of Mary of the Mazzaro. There was no shortage of traditional popular festival moments in the historic center.
