Madonna del Colletto Festival (Our Lady of the Snows Celebrations)

The 2025 edition of the celebrations for Our Lady of the Snows took place in early August at the Santuario del Colletto, on the pass between the Gesso and Stura valleys, in the municipality of Valdieri (Cuneo province, Piedmont).

The festival confirmed its dual nature, religious and popular: the Holy Mass with the procession in honor of the Madonna represented the central moment, while around the sanctuary the traditional convivial events were renewed, from polenta to grilled meats, with music and outdoor games. The organization saw the collaboration of the Parish and the Municipality of Valdieri with the Amici del Santuario della Madonna del Colletto association.
