Edition 2025 — Carmine Fair

In 2025, the Madonna del Carmine Fair took place in Surbo on July 16th, confirming the fixed appointment with the Marian feast. Stalls animated the streets of the Salento town for the entire day, featuring local products, sweets, and handicrafts, accompanying the popular devotion in honor of the Virgin of Mount Carmel according to a tradition deeply rooted in the community.

The 2025 Carmine Fair in Surbo

In 2025, Surbo, a town in the province of Lecce, once again renewed the traditional Madonna del Carmine Fair on July 16th. The day, fixed every year on the liturgical feast of the Virgin of Mount Carmel, combined religious devotion with the local street fair as always.

Stalls with local Salento products, sweets, toys, and handicrafts were set up along the streets of the center, attracting residents and visitors from nearby towns. The fair confirms itself as one of the social highlights of the Surbo summer, in a Salento region rich in popular festivals and food fairs.
