Edition 2025 — Madonna del Campo
A sober and heartfelt edition
The 2025 Madonna del Campo Festival in Cave was characterized by a more solemn and collected tone, as a sign of respect for the national mourning following the passing of Pope Francis. The festive aspects of the celebrations were reduced, but they fully retained their spiritual heart.
The procession of the statue was held on the evening of Saturday, April 26, departing from the Sanctuary towards the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta. On Sunday, April 27, after the Solemn Mass, the Madonna returned to her Sanctuary accompanied by the faithful. Among the year's initiatives was a walk along the "Sentiero dei Cinque Ponti" (Five Bridges Trail) of Cave, in Lazio.
