Edition 2025 — Madonna a Mare Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna a Mare Festival in Marina di Ginosa, originally scheduled for May 25, was postponed to Sunday, June 1, 2025, due to wind. The procession of the Immaculate Virgin departed in the late afternoon from the parish church towards the beach, featuring mass on the promenade, the blessing of the sea and boats, and a final fireworks display, in front of hundreds of faithful, civil and military authorities, and numerous tourists.

The 2025 Madonna a Mare Festival

In 2025, the Madonna a Mare Festival in Marina di Ginosa, scheduled for the last Sunday of May, was postponed by one week due to wind conditions: the celebration therefore took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, on a sunny day that attracted many vacationers.

In the late afternoon, around 6:00 PM, the procession departed from the Maria Santissima Immacolata parish church: the effigy of the Madonna was carried on shoulders along the streets of the center to the entrance of the beach, in the stretch of coast awarded the Blue Flag near the Boomerang and Bagno Cesena beach clubs. On the promenade, mass was celebrated, followed by the evocative boat procession with the blessing of the sea, the boats, and the maritime workers. Hundreds of faithful participated in the ceremony along with civil and military authorities. The day concluded with a fireworks display.
