Macerata Racconta – Festival Letterario

The fifteenth edition of Macerata Racconta, dedicated to the theme of "Illusions", was held from April 28 to May 4, 2025. The festival offered 49 events in six days, all with free admission, taking place in twelve different locations in the historic centre of Macerata: from the Lauro Rossi Theatre to the Filarmonici Theatre, from the Cinema Italia to the Auditorium and the Castiglioni room of the Mozzi Borgetti Library, as well as art galleries and city bookshops.

Among the guests of the 2025 edition were the twelve finalists of the Strega Prize, along with numerous prominent authors from the Italian cultural scene. The Marche region stage of the StregaTour, promoted by the Fondazione Bellonci, took place on May 4 at the Cinema Italia. The programme for young people and schools was also rich, with the Premio Macerata Racconta Giovani and events for children organised in collaboration with Macerata's bookshops.
