Macerata Carnival

35th Edition

The 35th Macerata Carnival, organized by Pro Loco Piediripa with the Municipal Administration, was held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Giardini Diaz in Macerata, after being postponed the previous Sunday due to bad weather.

The godmother of this edition was Matilde Brandi, a dancer, showgirl, and television presenter. The parade featured 5 allegorical floats — including "School of Rock" from Potenza Picena, "Día de los Muertos" from Mogliano, "The Flintstones" from Corridonia, "Casa Vianca" from Monte San Giusto, and the "Dolce Carro" (Sweet Float) by Pro Loco Piediripa with 'vin cotto' and sweets — accompanied by 9 masked groups and the children's train from the Sandro Pertini primary school. The Banda Città di Petriolo, the Birbanda of Macerata, and the Lombarda anni '70 provided entertainment.
