Maccheroni Festival of Ponticelli

The 2025 edition of the Maccheroni Festival of Ponticelli confirmed the indissoluble bond between Carnival and this hamlet of Imola, in the province of Bologna. In the village square, the inhabitants gathered in the committee cooked the traditional maccheroni with ragù using nine quintals of pasta and three quintals of meat, distributed for takeaway to villagers and visitors. The day, set in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, offered live music, entertainment for children, and the unmissable exhibition of vintage vehicles, attracting a crowd of gourmets to a community celebration that has been renewed for over a century.
