Maccheroni al Ferretto Festival

The third edition of the Maccheroni al Ferretto Festival was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 8:30 PM, in Piazza San Nicolò di Bari in Mongiuffi Melia. The event, scheduled for the Saturday before Palm Sunday, opened the traditional Easter festivities in the village.

The stars were the maccheroni worked with a knitting needle according to the ancient Sicilian tradition and the local new wine, accompanied by art and cultural events and a guided tour of Palazzo Corvaja. The video projections told the stories of the village's customs, in particular the representation of the Angels and the meeting of the Madonna with the Risen Jesus. The organization was managed by the Municipality of Mongiuffi Melia and the San Nicolò di Bari Parish.
